Having served as the Director of County Planning and Zoning, Michael has dedicated his career to shaping community growth and improving governmental efficiencies. His professional excellence is highlighted by prestigious recognitions, including the Marvin Collins planning award from the North Carolina American Planning Association (NC-APA) and the Centralia Council award for efficiencies in local government.
Currently semi-retired, Michael continues to lend his expertise as an Urban Planner Consultant. His professional journey began in land surveying, providing him with a foundational technical perspective on land use and development.
