Doctoral Dissertations in Geography and Geography and Urban Regional Analysis

The PhD in Geography and Urban Regional Analysis program at UNC Charlotte was launched in Fall 2006 and graduated its first students in 2011. In 2016, Faculty in the Department of Geography and Earth Sciences approved adjustment of the degree’s name to better reflect the breadth of student interest, faculty expertise and program specialization in three core areas of study: Urban Regional Analysis; Earth and Environmental Sciences; and Geographic Informational Systems and Technology.
