GEO Wows Discovery Place Visitors!

Discovery Place Science guests had the opportunity to dig into North Carolina’s geological diversity and rich history of mining with experts in the field from UNC Charlotte’s GEO Club and Sigma Gamma Epsilon chapter. Learners of all ages explored the properties and uses of rocks in everyday life, tested and identified minerals, and simulated geomorphic processes on a stream table!
