MS Thesis Titles

The Thesis is the Capstone for the Research MS in Earth Sciences degree offered by the Department of Earth, Environmental, and Geographical Sciences (EEGS). A Thesis is a document written by the MS student in close consultation with their Thesis Committee Chair (their primary research advisor), and fully describes their study of a topic in Earth Sciences. All Theses are archived in our department and university library, and are available upon request.

Thesis Committees are 3-4 faculty with expertise in the topic, and the Thesis Committee Chair being the primary research advisor who usually has the most direct expertise in the research topic the student is exploring. Some committee members are not in the EEGS, and they are noted as “not EEGS”. Some EEGS faculty listed below are no longer in our department and they will not be listed amongst our current EEGS faculty. Read the Thesis titles below to get a glimpse of what recent MS Earth Sciences graduates worked on.
