Dr. Clinton discusses algal blooms on WFAE

Sandra Clinton, Ph.D., Research Associate Professor in the Department of Earth, Environmental and Geographical Sciences was featured as part of a WFAE story on the recent algal blooms in Lake Norman. Along with LeeAnna Chapmann, Ph.D., from Davidson College, Clinton shared information about why algal blooms occur and their potential to harm people and wildlife via production of cytotoxins.
