Meteorology program and Steve Udelson featured in WSOC story

Steve Udelson, former chief meteorologist at WSOC TV in Charlotte, has been mentoring and conducting internships with meteorology students for several semesters. In the spring of 2026 he started a new course in the department called Broadcast Meteorology, which was featured by UNC Charlotte alum Danielle Miller and WSOC TV.
