Kunwar Singh (Geography PhD student) won the PhD Poster Competition ($500 prize) for his research entitled “DETECTING AND MAPPING SUB-CANOPY INVASIVE PLANTS IN URBAN FORESTS USING LIDAR-DERIVED METRICS”.
Whalen Dillon (Geography PhD student) won the John Fraser Hart PhD Paper Competition at the 2012 annual SEDAAG conference.
