M.S. Earth Sciences student Jasen Greco received a poster award at the recent American Meteorological Society Student Conference in Baltimore, MD. His study, entitled “Idealized Simulations of SUpercell Thunderstorm Interactions Near Stationary Boundaries,” was particularly lauded for its organization and clarity. Congratulations, Jasen! On January 9, GES Assistant Professor Jack Scheff appeared on WFAE (Charlotte NPR)’s flagship daily current-affairs show Charlotte Talks to discuss recent developments on climate change in North Carolina and beyond.
