UNC Charlotte Meteorology Alumni Covering Hurricane Matthew

As Hurricane Matthew approaches the southeast US, there are a number of UNC Charlotte graduates that are working this storm from a Meteorology stand point. Below are a list of a few that will be working the storm.

Garrett Bedenbaugh is in Jacksonville at WJAX- Action News Jacksonville.

Kaitlin Wright is in Myrtle Beach at WPDE.

Jonathan Weant is at WCTI in New Bern, NC. Ricky Matthews, at WCYB in Britsol, VA, may be there in the coming days too as WCTI their sister station. Chris Justus is working this storm too, though from a more inland perspective (he is at WYFF, in Greenville/Sparatanburg).
